Health and Safety Matters To Learning Nexus
Two of the leading players in e-learning have joined forces and will be kicking off their launch by exhibiting at the Health & Safety 10 Conference on 23-24 February, offering exclusive show deals on IOSH Courses. London-based Ivy Learning Services and Stroud’s Learning&Safety4Business have amalgamated as Learning Nexus to become more responsive to the demands and challenges of the learning and development landscape.
The newly-formed company will continue to work from both sites and will prove good news for new and existing customers as the combined expertise of both companies means that Learning Nexus can offer a wider yet still competitive range of e-learning courses for clients across the UK.
Learning Nexus will be led by Ken George, former Managing Director of Ivy Learning Services and Peter Howell, previously Managing Director of Learning&Safety4Business. Ken commented; “We have worked closely with Learning&Safety4Business for some years now and we share the same vision and values in terms of delivering service excellence to our customer base in the public and private sectors. We will demonstrate that as Learning Nexus we are a real force to be reckoned with.” Learning Nexus is exhibiting on Stand 90 at Health & Safety 10, Sandown Park, so come and meet the team and learn about exclusive show deals on IOSH courses too.

Confident Learning Nexus Recruits Production Project Manager
Leading e-learning solutions provider Learning Nexus has stepped confidently into 2010 and recruited a Production Project Manager following a succession of new bespoke and generic e-learning business wins. Danielle Rees joins the company to spear-head production output, and she will work out of the Learning Nexus office in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Learning Nexus, which came into being in January and is the collaboration of market leaders Ivy Learning Services and Learning&Safety4Business, expects 2010 to be a buoyant year for the e-learning sector as organisations continue to choose cost-effective forms of learning. Indeed, business has already been pretty brisk since the start of the year compared to 2009. Managing Director Peter Howell explains, "The Learning Nexus team has over 35 years combined e-learning expertise and we have seen the marketplace change a great deal in that time. We are confident that in 2010, organisations will continue to seek good-quality value for money learning and development solutions." "Our customers tell us that our e-learning courses and services really deliver what they're after, and we have recruited Danielle to help us project manage the increasing demand for our products in the short and long term. Danielle's grasp of the learning and development sector as an experienced teacher and training advisor will prove invaluable in her new role at Learning Nexus. We are delighted to welcome her as the first Learning Nexus recruit."

Ivy Learning Services and Learning&Safety4Business unite as Learning Nexus
Two of the leading players in e-learning have joined forces to become more responsive to the demands and challenges of the learning and development landscape. With effect from Monday January 18, London based Ivy Learning Services and Stroud's Learning & Safety 4 Business will amalgamate and be known as Learning Nexus. The newly-formed company will continue to work from both sites and will prove good news for new and existing customers as the combined expertise of both companies will mean that Learning Nexus can offer a wider yet still competitive range of e-learning courses for clients across the UK.
Learning Nexus will be led by Joint Managing Directors Ken George, former Managing Director of Ivy Learning Services and Peter Howell, previously Managing Director of Learning&Safety4Business.
Ken commented; "We have worked closely with Learning&Safety4Business for some years now and we share the same vision and values in terms of delivering service excellence to our customer base in the public and private sectors. Both companies were ambitious about what we wanted to achieve in the next few years so it seemed a natural step to combine our 40 years of expertise and become a bigger and better organisation."
Peter added; "I am delighted to be working in partnership with Ken and the former Ivy Services team. Together we have some great ideas on how we can help our customers deliver dynamic e-learning fit for the new decade. With all the e-learning course design and delivery expertise Learning Nexus can offer under one roof, 2010 will be a key year for us. We will demonstrate to our customers and the learning and development sector in general that as Learning Nexus we are a real force to be reckoned with."
