Northwards Housing
"One of the key goals for Northwards is to let our employees engage with their own development. A logical way to do this was via e-learning. As the project was scoped out, several providers were approached. We chose Learning Nexus because of three factors. The first was value for money: are we going to get a quality offering in return for our spend? South Wales Fire and Rescue
"As a Fire and Rescue Service we employ both Uniformed and Support Staff across the South Wales region, covering an area of 1,000 square miles. Due to the size and nature of the Fire Service any training or delivery undertaken can prove to be both time consuming and costly.
Since introducing our e-learning provision we have been able to provide timely, relevant and cost effective learning to the entire Service at the touch of a button. Learners can now learn at their own pace and at a time and location which suits their needs i.e. at home or in work. We are also more able to provide specific learning that can be allocated to an individual or an entire section of the Fire Service, thus increasing the effectiveness of the service we offer to the community.
Since embarking on our e-learning provision, Learning Nexus have been with us at every stage offering help and guidance which has assisted with the successful marketing and rollout of our provision, including meeting the ever changing requirements of the UK Fire and Rescue Service. "

Edinburgh's Telford College
"Edinburgh's Telford College has recently been awarded a RoSPA Gold award for our health and safety management system. We use Learning Nexus e-learning health and safety packages to train over 600 staff in the mandatory elements of our health and safety training. To date we have been able to record 100% completion of all five mandatory elements. Learning Nexus was also able to customise some of the material to meet our individual requirements. We believe our gold award was in part due to our success with the e-learning materials from Learning Nexus."
